LVMH sets a fund for emerging talent: 50 million for small brands “with great potential”

An investment fund with an availability of 50 million euro, ready to invest between the 2 and 10 million in small brands. You LVMH Luxury Ventures, the new instrument which is equipped with the French holding company of fashion to help grow emerging brands. The identikit of the startups that can qualify for the spectrum of interests LVMH is: having a turnover between 2 and 5 million euro; a size still does not place it within an acquisition or merger but which have “great potential for growth”. The types of product are fashion, accessories and cosmetics. LVMH does not only invest in the future of brands but also in their professionalisation. The French group has agreed with the Central Saint Martins in London to increase its financial commitment to teaching college. In particular, the college and the holding company will develop synergies on sustainability.
