La carne brasiliana vola: a ottobre l’export è da record

Brazil achieves top record ever, along with international leadership, thanks to amazing business figures. In fact, in 2018 they exported 1,64 million tons of meat, that is, +11% compared to 2017. In terms of foreign revenues, the livestock and farming industry of the South American giant reached 6,57 billion dollars, therefore increasing by 7,9% on annual basis. Such data, provided by ABIEC, the association of meat exporters, turn out to be the best performance ever for the industry. Profits have been driven by sales, in double figures, in China (including Hong Kong) and in the European Union. Brazil is still the best meat exporter in the world then; for the records, as reported by beefpoint.com.br, Mato Grosso proves to be the most important Brazilian state for the second year in a row: in fact, a remarkable amount (20%) of the product comes from here, according to data supplied by IMAC.
