Luciano Falqui is a project manager at Officine di Cartigliano: his company, headquartered in the province of Vicenza, is specialized in the development of machinery and technologies both for tanneries and for the drying of sludge deriving from industrial and municipal sewage treatment. He makes clear that “nowadays technology progress makes the whole leather-tanning process sustainable, and we have to inform final consumers about it, even implementing a specific marketing campaign”. For the records, Officine di Cartigliano have joined such initiative while participating, for instance, in the Green Week (the festival of green economy) latest edition and, at the same time, designing an open factory.
