Simons fa il bis: per CFDA è ancora il miglior stilista femminile del mondo. Nell’uomo comanda lo streetwear

Raf Simons di Calvin Klein, per il secondo anno consecutivo, è stato eletto miglior stilista dell’anno per la moda femminile, James Jebbia di Supreme è il migliore per il menswear (l’anno scorso vinse Simons), a testimoniare l’importanza dello streetwear nel mondo del fashion. Questi i verdetti 2018 di CFDA, al secolo Council of Fashion Designers of America, che ha assegnato i suoi premi al Brooklyn Museum di New York. Nell’uomo James Jebbia ha surclassato Virgil Abloh, Thom Browne e Tom Ford. Nella categoria accessori hanno vinto le sorelle Ashley e Mary-Kate Olsen di The Row che hanno battuto Paul Andrew (Salvatore Ferragamo), Stuart Vevers (Coach), Rachel Mansur e Floriana Gavriel (Mansur Gavriel). Spazio anche all’Italia, con Donatella Versace che ha ricevuto il Premio Internazionale. Ecco l’elenco dei premiati:

Founder’s Award: Carolina Herrera
Media Award in Honor of Eugenia Shepherd: Edward Enninful
Best International Designer Award: Donatella Versace
