Fairs and fairs, from Spain to Germany: Futurmoda proves successful and thinks about its growth, Gallery Shoes keeps up

After running successfully, Futurmoda is planning to expand in October. 308 companies and 410 brands (+10% compared to the previous edition) participated in the exhibition, which closed its stands in Alicante yesterday. Accomplishments have been positive. The fair’s president, José Antonio Ibarra, remarked that the success of the event depends on the fact that “stands are open and alike: that makes visits very amusing and enjoyable”. The Cronica Virtual magazine has reported a few comments: according to Vapesol, among others, “many people turned up at the fair, which is growing considerably”; in addition, according to Kara Group Italian tannery “here we feel the future alongside enthusiasm”. Very good vibrations, as well, for Da.Mi, shoe soles manufacturer. Chief executive officer Michela Catalini pointed out: “Bustle and attendance of visitors, most of all coming from Spain, were positive. We have received several orders, not only in terms of samples, but also for manufacturing. This fair is gearing up”. Luigi Sbrolla, chief executive officer of Malaspina shoe soles manufacturer, commented: “It has been a positive event, even though visitors decreased, compared to the previous editions; most of them showed up on the second day especially”. Next Futurmoda edition will take place on October 16-17: for the first time it will host machinery.

Likewise, the organizers of Gallery Shoes, which took place in Düsseldorf on March 10-12, were rather happy about this latest edition: attendance of visitors, who joined the event, was in line with 2018 fall edition. “Our feedback after Gallery Shoes is positive. We observed a good inflow at Fabi and Barracuda stand: new clients, coming from Germany and the Benelux, showed up as well. Germany’s market is turning more important to us, and we received some orders”, pointed out Emanuele Fabi from Fabi footwear manufacturer.
