Obuv Moscow footwear fair to be postponed until June (for the time being)

Obuv Moscow, il salone calzaturiero slitta a giugno (per ora)

From March to May. From May till June. They hope that they will not be compelled to put off the exhibition again or, considering what they had to do with regard to many other events, cancel it definitely. They have postponed, one more time, Obuv Moscow. They had formerly scheduled the Russian footwear fair  on March 17-20. Then they put it off until May 12-15. The event is now on the agenda on June 8-11.

Obuv Moscow rescheduled in June

The event organizers (namely Expocenter JSC and BolognaFiere) hope that Covid-19 emergency will soon stabilise. In such event, the footwear exhibition, whose venue is the Moscow Expocentre, will take place as per schedule. Both companies announced they will strive hard and do their best to ensure the fair quality standards, as much as exhibitors and visitors health and safety, of course. Obuv Moscow is a very important exhibition on which Italian footwear and leather goods companies rely a great deal: in fact, many of them deal with Russia as their major market. In the last few years, such market proved rather complicated and very conflicting.

Some more postponements

All of the fashion events, scheduled until the end of May, have been either cancelled or postponed all over the world. They have rescheduled a few of them in June: for the time being, they have not delayed some exhibitions. More specifically, Source Africa-ATF Expo, Cape Town, South Africa (June 2-4); Dallas Apparel & Accessories Market (June 2-4); Aysaf, Istanbul, Turkey (June 10-13). Right from Moscow, they have been sending a contradictory message. On the one hand, they confirmed LeShow, on the agenda on June 16-18; yet, on the other hand, they postponed MosShoes, formerly scheduled on June 19-21, until September 8-11.
