The key word is synergy. It is no coincidence, then, that Lineapelle next edition will also present and spotlight, inside the halls of the fair, a new exhibiting project. The name given to the project is Mipel Lab.
Opening the door to leather sourcing
Mipel Lab is an exhibiting format which has been developed in collaboration with Assopellettieri. It shapes up to be the leather sourcing exhibition and will be running “simultaneously and in partnership with Lineapelle: the trade shows will also share their exhibiting spaces”. It is going to be a pragmatic way to help brands meet up with those players who have technical/quality know how to produce their collections. Such project will be presented at Lineapelle, inside its exhibiting scenario, which hosts the whole landscape of supply of leather, materials, and accessories that must be used to make them tangibly achievable.
“After the dreadful days we have been going through – commented Gianni Russo, President of Lineapelle –, I consider cooperation between institutes and associations extremely important. Based on such starting point, Lineapelle has resolutely supported this proposal and will consequently strive hard to guarantee a successful accomplishment”.
The debut of Mipel Lab
They had a sneak preview (for the records, a physical event) of Mipel Lab at Pitti Immagine, on Wednesday, 30 June 2021, at Fortezza da Basso, Florence. “We have built up our physical trade show in close partnership with Lineapelle – commented Assopellettieri –, which is the most important worldwide event regarding research for raw materials and accessories to be employed in the manufacturing of leather goods. It is also the perfect place, then, to meet up with manufacturers. This new proposal, which is in addition to the one made by Lineapelle, the production managers of the brands will enjoy a 360-degree service.”
