Lineapelle shuts its stands but doesn’t stop: back in Milan from October 2 – 4, but first, London and New York

One thing is for certain: the nature of Lineapelle as an exhibition is cyclical and in continuous motion. Cyclical, because it marks the course of the year with its two global editions in Milan. In fact, the edition that is closing today leaves all its exhibitors and visitors with an invitation to come back to Fieramilano Rho next October, from Wednesday 2 to Friday 4, for the edition that will showcase collections for the 2020/2021 winter season. And that’s not all. Lineapelle97 will also be the stage for the second edition of Lineapelle Innovation Square, an “inspiration hub” that aims to tear down the boundaries of the present by putting forth and exploring the substance of the most interesting innovations in the fields of fashion, luxury, and manufacturing.

But before that, Lineapelle’s cyclical motion will pause briefly in London on Tuesday July 9 (at the Ham Yard Hotel) for the long-awaited one-day event that could take on an even greater meaning on this occasion by becoming the first exhibition after “full and final Brexit”, scheduled for late March. Only a few days later, Lineapelle’s rotation will reach New York, on Wednesday July 17 and Thursday July 18, in its usual location at the Metropolitan Pavilion. In both cases, foretastes of the fashion of winter 2020/21 will be under the spotlight. It may sound like just a slogan, but it’s a simple fact : Lineapelle never stops.
