A company shake-up so profound that Ferragamo also changed its logo

Ferragamo also changed its logo. From the creative director to the CEO, passing through the chairman of the board. In the last year the Salvatore Ferragamo group has revolutionised almost everything. And now it’s up to its initials lettering. With the pre-fall 2021 men’s collection, the Florentine brand unveiled the new ‘SF’ logo.

Ferragamo also changed its logo

“A symbol of creativity, passion and innovation. A monogram with a refined and recognisable line, which becomes a distinctive element of the new men’s line – is explained from the headquarters -. Two elegant and subtle initials, finely stylised to represent the pioneering vision and timeless essence of the maison”. As Pambianco points out, the SF Logo line includes: moccasins (where the new logo is present as a side buckle), drivers (as a central ornament) and sneakers. The new logo has also been applied to leather goods and belts.

The company shake up

Therefore, the company shake up continues. Revolution started on May 28, 2020, when Ferruccio Ferragamo transferred his executive powers to Michele Norsa. A revolution that then continued unabated, and which has had a decisive acceleration in recent months. At the end of March, was the change of the chairman of the Board of Directors: Leonardo Ferragamo in place of his brother Ferruccio. About ten days later, the brand announced the departure of creative director Paul Andrew. And then, the most unexpected shock, the CEO change: Micaela Le Divelec Lemmi will, in January 2022, give way to Marco Gobbetti, who is leaving Burberry.
